Anti-Wrinkle Injections are a virtually painless treatment but as with all injection there may be some slight discomfort, that varies from person to person. If you are particularly concerned about possible discomfort please discuss this with our aesthetic nurse during your consultation as we have other methods to reduce discomfort such as numbing creams.
Your treatment will be performed by one of our expert, fully qualified and registered nurses who have over 20 years combined experience and expertise administering wrinkle relaxant injections. You will be in the very best care.
Anti-wrinkle injections temporarily acts on nerve endings in facial muscles to prevents the muscles from excessively contracting. This reduction in muscle contractions softens lines and wrinkles in the treatment area, giving you a more natural, refreshed and youthful appearance.
Generally most people are suitable for anti-wrinkle injections, however at you FREE consultation our nurse will go over everything with you and ask the necessary questions to determine that you are suitable and it is safe to proceed with treatment.
You can return to normal activities straight away.
There is little downtime following treatment, however, we recommended that you should try to avoid wearing makeup for 24 hours after treatment and avoid exposure to excessive heat, UV rays, sun bed etc. or prolonged exposure to the sun for up to 2 weeks after treatment.
We use only the very best, long lasting products at Epilight New Skin but we are all individuals and the exact amount of time before retreatment is needed varies from person to person although we typically advise retreatment to be done after approximately 3 months.
